Hinckley Walk of Witness

Good Friday 2016

A large group of Christians started out at St Peter’s and made their way to the Market Place.

Stopping to sing and pray outside the recently closed Co-op on Castle St and by Bell Entry.

A very large group of us worshiped in the bright sunshine, gathered around the Cross.

The Church Lads and Church girls Marching band of Hinckley & Atherstone played for us to sing along.

Tributes to Jane Gibbs (who has recently died) and Malcolm Clarke (who is about to retire from active preaching) were made before we finished up at the URC in the Borough for hot drinks and Hot Cross Buns to chat with all our friends from other Churches.
