The Vine

The following was take from a leaflet give out in Hinckley after the Good Friday Walk of Witness

THE VINE CHRISTIAN BOOK AND COFFEE SHOP
With the closure of The Sycamore Tree in Nuneaton, The Vine is now the only Christian Resource Centre between Coventry and Leicester, and hereabouts. We would love you to call in and see what we have to offer.

Monday to Friday 9am til 4pm though early closing is at 2pm on Thursdays, and Saturdays are from 9am until 3pm.
We are tucked away off Regent Street Hinckley, next to The Church in The Borough, Hinckley URC. No more than a minute off the beaten track. We are easy to access and a warm welcome awaits. Why not call in for a coffee or a cuppa and a light lunch and to browse when you are next in Town?

We have the best selection in Town of greetings cards ‘with a text‘ for all occasions.
We support local crafters and have lots of speciality gifts on show.
We are Fairtrade and have a wide range of products available.
We order and supply Christian music, books, Church Resources, Bibles, etc for all ages and for children in particular. We love both Church and personal orders.
We are a listening ear for many. A prayer support for some.
We hold advertised workshops and host a weekly knitting group.
We serve excellent food and drinks.
We have a facebook page.Web site Facebook link
We always have room for new volunteers of all ages. Please speak to Katherine. Many find this Service a real personal blessing.
We would appreciate more people joining us as ‘Friends of The Vine‘. Please ask.
We are always in need of your patronage. All Christian Book and Coffee Shops across the country need the support of the local congregations as their core business if they are to sun/ive and thrive during the economic downturns and the great want of Christian Witness. We trust that you will regard us as worthy of yours and come and see us.
