Poppys are Plants NOT Politics

Attended a great talk at Hinckley Methodist Church yesterday. “Lest we Forget”   Greg Drozdz told us the story of the annual Poppy Appeal and how it started.   He also spoke on some of the names on the War Memorials in the Church.

Immediately a rooster crowed. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: “Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.
