He is a Volunteer Driver at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Transport (Dial a Ride).
Description
Provides accessible transport for the elderly and disabled who find it difficult to use public transport. Covers the areas of Hinckley and Bosworth.
The Dial-a-Ride scheme uses volunteer drivers using their own cars to transport clients to health and hospital appointments, shopping, hairdressers, visits to friends or relatives, lunch clubs etc. There is also a minibus service available.
Charges depend on where you are going to and from. A bus pass will entitle you to half price journeys.
Transport available until 5pm and sometimes later, plus weekends for essential trips or outings.
