The aspects of Fred

So there is the general purpose Fred.

He is nominally in charge but not always. He plays games on facebook all day on the PC, Mobile phone and Tablet.

There is Fred the Counsellor.

He is a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor who volunteered at West Leicestershire MIND from 2009 to June 2012 as and after qualifying with his Diploma in Counselling and becoming a member of British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP) and then has been an Independent Person-centred Counsellor at Fred the Counsellor.http://www.fred-the-counsellor.webspace.virginmedia.com/

There is Fred the driver.

He is a Volunteer Driver at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Transport (Dial a Ride).

Description

Provides accessible transport for the elderly and disabled who find it difficult to use public transport. Covers the areas of Hinckley and Bosworth.

The Dial-a-Ride scheme uses volunteer drivers using their own cars to transport clients to health and hospital appointments, shopping, hairdressers, visits to friends or relatives, lunch clubs etc. There is also a minibus service available.

Charges depend on where you are going to and from. A bus pass will entitle you to half price journeys.

Transport available until 5pm and sometimes later, plus weekends for essential trips or outings.

  • Community transport
